Admission process and guidelines
Admission to the Two-Year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme, recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara (M.P.), is conducted through the centralized online counseling process administered by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The minimum eligibility for admission to the B.Ed. programme is a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, as prescribed by NCTE and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Eligible candidates are required to register online and participate in the choice-filling process conducted by the Department of Higher Education.
Admissions are granted strictly on the basis of merit. The merit list is prepared by the Department of Higher Education considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and other applicable norms. Generally, five to six rounds of counseling are conducted to facilitate admissions, allowing candidates to secure seats according to their merit ranking and preferences.
The institution has an approved intake capacity of 100 students for the B.Ed. programme, comprising two units of 50 students each. The admission process is transparent, merit-based, and follows all regulations and guidelines issued by NCTE, the affiliating university, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
